Using prompts
Do I need an account to use the prompts?
No. Every prompt is free to browse, search and copy without an account. You only need an account to share your own prompts.
How do I use a prompt?
Open the prompt, fill in any blanks at the top, then press Copy prompt and paste it into your AI tool. For text prompts you can also press ChatGPT or Claude to open the prompt there directly.
What are the fill-in fields?
Some prompts have blanks such as a topic, audience or tone. Type your details into the fields and they are placed into the prompt for you. If a field offers choices, pick one from the list. Fields you leave empty stay as a placeholder in square brackets.
Which AI tool should I use?
Most text prompts work in any chat assistant, such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. When a prompt is tuned for a specific tool, it says so under Works with. Image prompts need an image generator such as ChatGPT image generation, Nano Banana (Gemini) or Midjourney.
What are agent skills, custom agents and rules files?
They are files for AI coding and agent tools rather than chat prompts. Agent skills (SKILL.md) add abilities to tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot. Custom agents are ready-made specialists you add to those tools. Rules files tell coding assistants such as Cursor and Copilot how to write code for a project. Use the Download button and follow your tool’s instructions for where to place the file.
Why do some image prompts show an example and others do not?
We show example images only when the image’s licence allows it and it does not depict real people, brand logos or copyrighted characters.
Accounts and sharing
How do I share a prompt?
Create an account, confirm your email address and wait for approval. Once approved, use Submit a prompt. Every prompt is reviewed before it is published, and we email you when it goes live.
How long does approval take?
We review new accounts and submissions by hand, usually within a day or two.
Why was my prompt not approved?
Prompts must be useful, clearly described and follow our Community Guidelines. If we reject a prompt we usually add a note explaining why, which you can see on your account page. You are welcome to submit an improved version.
Who can use the prompts I share?
Everyone. By sharing a prompt you release it so anyone can copy, use and adapt it. Please only share prompts you have the right to share. See our Terms of Use.
How do I delete my account or get a copy of my data?
Sign in and go to My account, where you can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account. You can also contact us.
