These guidelines keep AI Prompts Catalogue useful and safe for everyone. They apply to every prompt, agent skill, custom agent and rules file shared on the site, and to how members use their accounts.
What makes a great prompt
- Useful and reusable. It solves a real task for many people, not a one-off personal request.
- Clearly described. The title and description tell people what it does and when to use it.
- Ready to fill in. Parts that people should change are marked as fill-in fields, for example
${topic}or${tone:friendly}. - Tested. You have used it and it works with the AI tools you list.
- In the right place. Choose the category, type and language that fit best.
What is not allowed
- Sexual or sexually suggestive content, and anything that sexualises minors in any way.
- Content that promotes hate, harassment, discrimination or violence against people or groups.
- Prompts designed to bypass AI safety rules (“jailbreaks”), or to produce malware, exploits, phishing, scams or other harmful or illegal material.
- Prompts that help impersonate real people, spread misinformation or create deceptive content presented as real.
- Personal information about you or anyone else, such as names, addresses, phone numbers or photos of private individuals.
- Material you do not have the right to share, such as copyrighted text copied from paid courses, books or other websites.
- Spam, advertising, affiliate links and duplicate submissions.
How review works
A person reviews every new account and every submitted prompt. We may edit titles, descriptions, categories and tags so prompts are easier to find, and we may reject submissions that do not meet these guidelines. When we reject a prompt we usually leave a note on your account page.
If something breaks the rules
We may remove content, reject future submissions or close accounts that break these guidelines or our Terms of Use. If you see content that breaks the rules, please use Report this prompt on the prompt page or contact us.
